Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PSTD)

For my final post to the class webpage, I have chosen to talk about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. According to the textbook, PTSD is a disorder that results from exposure to unpredictable life-threatening events, such as tornadoes, physical and sexual assaults, and battlefield experiences. Symptoms include sleep difficulties, exaggerated startle response, intrusive recollections about the trauma, and nightmares. Masserman, explains that these types of scenarios are most likely experiences that happen in a person’s environment that someone has long associated with safety and has been unexpectedly attacked in the safety of his or her home as opposed to a strange or dangerous area of town. There are a variety of treatments to help cope with symptoms of PSTD.

  3. When it comes to health concerns, eye care usually comes last for most individuals since many do not give it a second thought unless problems are already in place. If you belong to this class, it's time to realize its importance. https://visualaidscentre.com/service/eyes-specialist-delhi/
