Hello, for my third blog post I will be discussing Classical Conditioning.

Classical conditioning is when we learn through association. Classical conditioning was originally learned from Pavlov. In Pavlov's experiment he made dogs salivate to the sound of a bell. He did this by ringing the bell everytime the dog was offered food. Through this the dogs learned that the bell meant they were going to get fed. So eventually, the sound of the bell would make them salivate.

Classical conditioning can be used on humans and in much smaller ways too. One example is if every day you come home from work with sunglasses on, you go to the beach. Your child will see you come home from work with sunglasses on andAttachment Theory | Simply Psychology | Attachment theory, Social learning theory, Classical conditioning psychology know you are going to the beach.
